Diorama Kwakiutl

Diorama depicting characters from an Hamatsa society ceremony into Kwakwaka'wakw tribe (Kwakiutl indians, northwest coast of America). the masks represent two mythological man-eating birds, "crooked beak of heaven" Galuxwadzuwus (the one with larger and crooked beak...) and "skull splitter of heaven" Huxwhukw, Hohokw, huk huk...(the other, with long beak).
the totem pole sculpted in wood (rolling pin) represents a human being, a bear and an owl. The 75mm size dancers are sculpted with polymer clay (fimo, sculpey firm), the masks using Milliput and the whole scenery is painted using acrylic paints.
